Black tie / Formal

We will be dressing up and would love for you to join us! We are going for classic and elegant so think suits and a beautiful dress.

The ceremony will start at 1.30pm sharp. Please ensure you are seated prior to this time.

We ask that all phones and cameras are turned off during the ceremony to allow you to enjoy and be present with us. We also ask that you do not post photos of the bride and groom on social media until they have had a chance to do so.

The wedding ceremony will be held in a beautiful church in the city (it reminds us of the stunning ones we visited in Italy). Just walk in and find a seat anywhere you like. Don't worry about sides- we love you all equally.

Parking at Ceremony

Ample car parking is provided in the underground car park of the Diocesan Centre. Entry by a left hand turn only from Wakefield Street.

We have so many special little people in our lives that we would love to see on our wedding day. Children are welcome at the ceremony, we just ask that you ensure they are respectful of the church.

For the Reception, we regretfully cannot accomodate for them. We do hope that you will see this as an opportunity to enjoy a night off with us.

Here are some great bars within walking distance:

- The Collins Bar (in the Hilton hotel)

- Roma Adelaide

We will be providing buses from the ceremony to the reception and the reception back into the city.

After the ceremony, there will be a break of approximately 1 1/2 hours. The buses will collect guests at 4pm from the front of St Francis Xavier Cathedral to head up to the reception. Buses will leave the reception at 12.00pm and will drop you off at the church, 39 Wakefield Street, Adelaide.

Please ensure you let us know if you would like to join us on the bus via the RSVP.

If you are driving- to minimise windy roads, we suggest exiting on the Hahndorf exit from the South Eastern Freeway. Maps will take you the rest of the way (please note- the driveway is a dirt road)

The best gift will be for us to share this special day filled with love, laughter and dancing with you all.

If you do however wish to share a contribution towards our honeymoon or house renovations it would be very generous.
